About Me
I am an attachment and behavioural awareness coach, currently completing my Diploma of Counselling (due late 2025).
I have been working in healthcare for almost 20 years, and throughout this time I have gone through my own personal journey in understanding and healing from trauma, C-PTSD, broken relationships, and my fearful avoidant attachment style.
The more I learned about myself and also working with injured clients in my allied health work, I began to realise how much our relationships and behaviours impact not only our mental health, but our physical health too.
My coaching approach is evidence-informed and trauma-aware, blending clinical experience, lived experience, and research from attachment theory, behavioural psychology, and neurophysiology to support clients in understanding their patterns, emotions, and relationships.
I primarily work with those who are working to understand:
- Painful or confusing relationship patterns.
- Attachment styles and the impact on relationships.
- Breakups and the emotional aftermath.
- The intersection between neurodivergence and attachment, understanding how differences in emotional regulation, processing, and communication impact relationships.
Within the coaching space, I work with clients towards understanding and building their emotional regulation skills, strengthening communication skills, and developing secure internal grounding, so they can feel more at peace and connected in both love and life.
This work is deeply personal to me. My passion for helping others heal attachment wounds and reconnect with themselves grew from my own lived experiences with trauma, neurodivergence, and relationships that challenged my sense of safety and self-trust. Healing taught me that love and connection require emotional skill, knowledge, and compassion, both for ourselves and others.
My coaching practice is grounded in reflective conversation and self-exploration. It is not therapy or mental health treatment, but rather a supportive, insight-driven space to understand yourself more deeply and begin creating healthier, more secure connections.

"I have been a Client with Ken Reid for quite some time now and as part of my next steps, progression and stage of healing, I was introduced to Talysha as a suggested added value for my development via the Attachment Healing Space community and we instantly connected. The suggested collaboration was spot on. Talysha’s ability to assert herself in both the current and history of my healing journey has shown to be very effective and
valuable. Within a few sessions we already managed to create momentum and development. Personally, I feel very comfortable and seen as a Queer & Neurodivergent Woman and Talysha’s capacity to relate and include these aspects in our work together is very validating. Talysha’s personal and relaxed approach also helps to create a very safe
space to connect and open-up. I always look forward to our sessions, no matter the current emotional state I am navigating."
