At this time my team and I do not accept or take My Mental Health Care Plans for our clients.

Do you or your team accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

Depending on where you are located and the clinician or coach you speak to, we might be able to accept insurance. Whilst coaches and counsellors cannot accept insurance, some therapists on the team may be able to depending on where they are located as well as the health insurance fund you are with.

Are you a crisis counselling service?

Accepted Answer

Ken Reid Counselling is not a crisis counselling service. My team and I do not accept same day bookings. Do you offer couple’s counselling?

Accepted Answer

Yes, my team and I are mostly capable of offering couple’s sessions. Please submit a request for couple’s sessions and we will match you with a specialist who is able to best support you.

Question 5

Can I pay my partner or ex to attend therapy to work on their attachment style?

Accepted Answer

We cannot accept a client who is not submitting themselves to counselling/ therapy/ coaching of their own volition. Whilst they may seek out the financial resources from another source like a parent, they must be entering this practice with the intention of seeking change for themselves, not because they are doing so on behalf of a partner otherwise we will refuse treatment.

Can you offer advice for me in regards to getting an ex back?

We are not ethically allowed to give any advice including strategies or tips on how to get a former partner back. We understand where this desire comes from but this is not the purpose of this practice and it is a breach of our ethical boundaries.

Do you offer same day bookings?

Accepted Answer

We need at least 24 hours in advance to secure a booking as we do not do same day bookings. Availability is subject to clinician availability.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

My team and I only offer online sessions at this time via Google Meetings.

Question 9

How do I find my booking link once a session is booked?

Accepted Answer

If you book through the website my team will send you the booking link and contract for you at least a few hours prior to your session.

Ken Reid does not accept donations from clients.

However, as a Social Media content creator, Ken is able to accept donations (https://www.kenreidcounselling.com.au/donate)if he does not have an ongoing client/ counsellor relationship with you.
